Amazon, Google e Facebook no 2º dia do Web Summit

Entre os painelistas desta terça-feira, 5, está Rohit Prasad, VP de Alexa, que fala sobre o futuro dos assistentes de voz

Primeiro dia com programação completa de palestras e eventos do Web Summit, esta terça-feira, 5, será marcada pela pluralidade de temas relevantes a diferentes áreas. Os assuntos vão dos mais tecnológicos, como inteligência artificial, fintechs e privacidade & dados, a outros que exploram o futuro das cidades e impacto positivo das marcas.

No âmbito da inteligência artificial, Rohit Prasad, vice-presidente e cientista chefe da Inteligência Artificial Alexa, da Amazon, fará um balanço dos cinco anos desde que o serviço foi lançado e como continuará entregando novas experiências na conexão entre os consumidores e o que eles buscam com a assistente de voz – ainda relacionado a essa nova forma de interação com os consumidores, Daniel Leyser, CEO da Meta Design, lida sobre a importância de dar às marcas  um tom de voz e personalidade. Já as decisões tomadas por inteligências artificiais serão tema de Cassie Kozyrkov, chief decision scientist do Google.

Após ter anunciado sua entrada no mercado de fintechs, o Facebook levará ao Web Summit Kevin Weil, vice-presidente de produto da Calibra, a moeda virtual criada pela rede social. Ele será entrevistado por Tim Bradshaw, correspondente global de tecnologia do Financial Times. E para falar sobre privacidade e inovação, Ruby Zefo, chief privacy officer do Uber, será entrevistado por Charlie Warzel, do The New York Times.

O CEO do iFood, Carlos Moyses, abordará, com Tim Stevens, editor da Roadshow, o impacto de serviços como o delivery de alimentos na cultura e sistemas de transporte das cidades. Sob outro viés, Sandra Bour Schaeffer, vice-presidente da Airbus, tratará do assunto mobilidade. Levando em consideração aviões, trens e automóveis, ela debaterá com outros participantes se é possível deslocamentos mais sustentáveis para a humanidade. Com o mesmo viés socioambiental, Shane Wall, CTO e head global da HP Labs, juntamente com o ator Ian Somerhalder, tentarão responder a outra questão: “as marcas podem salvar o planeta?”.

Finalmente, vale destacar nesta terça-feira, 5, discussões em torno de novos paradigmas de negócio, entre elas o painel “The cognitive enterprise”, que terá como palestrante principal Mark Foster, vice-presidente de Global Business Service da IBM, responsável por apresentar as próximas mudanças na arquitetura de negócios.

E o olhar sobre as novas gerações virá de Karen McCormick, chief investment officer da Beringea; Tara Reeves, sócia da Omers Ventures; Rob Lowe, head de Value Creation da Lego Ventures; e Avi Eyal, sócio da Entree Capital. Em debate, no painel, estarão a Geração Z e o que ela quer, sob a perspectiva também de que empresas e serviços os investidores, levando em consideração tais hábitos, já estão apostando.
